Odel Universal is the parent entity for a portfolio of operator-run businesses based out of Ellicott City, Maryland. Today that means a car-rental fleet, a marketing arm, and the back-office that runs them both.

Origin

Odel started as a single car on Turo. It became a six-car fleet serving rideshare and delivery drivers across Maryland. Along the way the systems got real: payments, payouts, GPS, renewals, maintenance — all in one operator’s dashboard.

That dashboard is the reason Odel Universal exists. Once you have a stack that actually runs one business, you can run a second one on the same stack. That is the only thesis.
